The highly successful application was put together by our subject leaders, Mrs Keen and Miss McKinlay and involved a great deal of work - gathering the evidence to prove that geography is taught exceptionally well at The Raleigh.  Comments from the invigilators included: 

"Thank you for a very well organised submission which showcases a range of evidence from across the school and the commentary is both clear and has obviously been written by very knowledgeable geographers and subject leaders."

"Pupils have a wealth of opportunities to develop a sense of place through visits and are clearly developing some geographical fieldwork techniques."

"A successful Ofsted deep dive in geography supported an outstanding judgement and made comment on the interconnections made across subjects in terms of world and geographical knowledge."

We are incredibly proud of this wonderful achievement and it is testament to the hard work put in by pupils and staff at The Raleigh.
